This heavy-duty snatch block is for use with wire rope only, up to 7/8-in. With an easy-to-see red finish, this rugged accessory will help you get the most out of your winch. When used properly, this multi-purpose snatch block can double the pulling power of a winch and change the pulling direction without risk of damaging the rope. Snatch blocks also reduce amp draw and winch overheating. Applicable working load limit (WLL) is dependent on application: 4:1 Safety Factor WLL: 24,000lb – per ASME B30.26 Standard (General rigging & lifting); 2:1 Safety Factor WLL: 48,000lb – per BS 7901 Standard (Vehicle recovery, not overhead). Minimum breaking strength: 96,000lb.
